Last night I was staring at the two articles I’m currently working on wondering which one I could wrap up in time for my self-imposed Monday evening deadline. After humming and hawing I have decided that instead of rushing one through I’m going to take a much-needed Christmas break. As we head into the holiday season and the end of the business year, it feels like there’s just not enough time to get everything done. It’s a stressful time of the year and in all likelihood many of you are feeling the same way, so let’s keep my last post of the year simple by moving the January update up two weeks and calling it the Year End Update.
My plan is to return with a new post on January 16th.
What’s in the News
I’ve decided to drop this section from the update and attempt to provide it as a stand-alone post every Friday or Saturday. My first was last Saturday and I will resume then on a weekly basis sometime in the New Year.
Coming “Soon”

Comment of the Month
It was a short month but Alice K. still deserves recognition for her reply to my Practical Financial Advice Post as it provide an important caveat to what I wrote. You can read it in full at this link:

As we are approaching Christmas, I thought a couple of religious quotes were in order:
"Photons have mass? I didn’t even know they were Catholic."
--Woody Allen
"God is silent. Now if only man would shut up."
--Woody Allen
As usual, I encourage you to join my subscriber chat or comment on this post and let me know your thoughts.
Final Thoughts
The only thought I have at the moment is that it’s been a long year, and we all deserve a break. Enjoy the holidays and hopefully I’ll see you back here in January!
