"Fiscally speaking, Canada and the US seem to be headed in opposite directions. In the US DOGE has promised to reduce spending by cutting government waste. In Canada however spending is the name of the game and the Liberal government loves that game. Their Fall Economic Statement released this week revealed the government overshot it's previous deficit target by $20 Billion. I wonder which country will try to tax "the rich" first."
